Ok so this blog post isn't actually a spoiler, but a thought-provoking chat. I must say Michael B and Jamie Foxx did incredible jobs in this movie, and played roles that you wouldn't typically see them do. In a nutshell this movie speaks on justice for the wrongfully accused. Have you seen the movie? What did you think??
Have you ever received unfair treatment because of your race, sex, socioeconomic status? It can certainly weigh heavily because not only does it devalue you, but it stirs up a fight that pushes you to prove yourself--- and is that stressful or nah?!
Romans 12:19 says "vengeance is mine, I will repay saith the Lord". Sometimes it is appropriate to find your voice and seek justice on the matter, and other times God will speak to you and let you know when to keep your peace....He will fight your battles. Can you think of a time you fought for the justice you knew you were rightfully due? What was the outcome?
