Midnight Meditation🙏

If you're a mom and you're anything like me-- you get your "me time" at night once the babies have gone to sleep! So I created this meditation with you mommies in mind! Lately, I've been needing to dig a little deeper in the word because our lives can become so scheduled and busy that our devotion is quick and surface level. I took this opportunity to unwind and focus on God all at the same time. This was the perfect set-up for reading the word of God, worship, and prayer.

Studies show that meditation reduces heart rate, blood pressure, stress, anxiety, depression, and the sensation of pain. It increases energy and efficiency by increasing blood flow to the brain. Plus, the Lord wants us to meditate in the word day & night in order to have success. If you have not seen my first meditation video, click here to find out more about why we as Christians should meditate!

During the meditation, my scripture reading led me to Psalm 37:7 which says "rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass."

If you back up and take a look at the entire chapter it discusses the heritage of those who follow God vs the destruction of those who do not. You ever notice how some people can do whatever they want (even things that do not align with the word of God), and still seemingly prosper? Well it specifically says not to worry or be tempted to desire what these people have because it is short-lived and will soon "wither away like green plants". God wants us to wait on Him, and trust His timing and plans for our lives-- He will give us the desires of our hearts!

Let's continue to build our confidence in Christ! Believe in your affirmations and spend time with the Lord daily!
