While IDentity seeks to empower women, a big theme is wellness and renewing the mind DAILY! So I have created a new series that is easy to follow and sure to get your minds balanced and restored.
Meditation is a self-help tool that is used to bring about relaxation and an inner peace. When used in conjunction with other treatments it has been shown to alleviate a number of ailments that include: blood pressure (high), concentration, anxiety, depression, memory problems, cancer support, heart and circulatory health.
We will be using meditation to focus on God and make positive thinking a way of life! Check out the video below, and join in with me if you'd like!! I use diaphragmatic breathing (abdominal breathing) which allows for a full and efficient oxygen exchange within the body and it serves to quiet the mind.

Meditation can actually be done anywhere in no particular posture-- so have fun with it and remember when your mind is still rehearse those scriptures/positive thoughts! Try to increase your time in meditation each time you do it-- 10minutes a day will do!
